241. More TV Shows updates: Merlin and Hart of Dixie ...
After episode 4.08, I decided to drop Merlin from my current repetoire too. Can't help it, I just lost all interest I have with this. At first, I was happy that the King finally died and Arthur took the throne. But the whole thing making Morgana as the sole villain (oh wait, with Aggravaine too) didn't work out very well for me. I just don't think Katie McGrath has what it takes to be a great villain. I wish the writers didn't kill Morgause, because Emilia Fox was one of the people who made season 3 watchable
Then, I tried to watch the first 3 episodes of Hart of Dixie. I seriously want to roll my eyes every single time Rachel Bilson is on screen (which is almost all the time, considering this is her story!!) -- because OMG she cannot act, and I'm supposed to believe she's a great surgeon, and channeling Miranda from Sex and The City?!? That is like telling me that I suppose to believe that the sun rises in the west!! HOWEVER, I find that the show is not all that bad, and I am actually charmed with the other people in the show ... most especially Levon Hayes (love he always names himself like so) and Wade (because oh my God, he's frickin' hot). George (as character) is boooring though and I'm not sure where I take my stand with Lemon (I wonder why people like to name their kids with fruits?!?). But maybe I'll check at least episode 4 and 5 to make a decision? Usually by then I can decide whether I want to continue or not.
