209. Inappropriate humor? ...
I am not a fan of comedy series. In fact, I don't follow any comedy TV shows ever since Friends. I had tried a few that were so popular, like Community or 30 Rock but I didn't find them funny. AT ALL. The only one TV comedy that I followed for the last few years, which was The Big Bang Theory, I planned to drop from my repertoire this year. I can easily count the number of times that I actually laugh in that show.
But give me an episode from The Closer or CSI, where they are "supposed" to be crime shows, and I can tell you the funny episodes. Like HILARIOUS! For example, this week's The Closer. I giggled and laughed so much during the time where the murderer tried to prove that she did it. It was so frickin' funny. tomatoe18 told me I had an inappropriate sense of humor *grin*
On other news, I watched Kung-Fu Panda 2 last night with a couple of friends. Now THAT was one FUNNY movie. It is so entertaining, I plan to watch the 3D version with my sister. I am not huge on 3D movies, I think it's just Hollywood's way to gain more money from the audiences. However, when I watched the 2D version last night, I immediately thought that the 3D version would be awesome. It can easily be one of my favorites this year. Plus I have my Angie Jolie fix, even if it's only her voice. I give in an A-, since the ending is a cheap and blatant moment to give way for another sequel.
