WHAT. AN. AMAZING. EPISODE
Even though I was preparing myself for when Alicia finally found out about Peter/Kalinda "one-night-of-passion", it was still heartbreaking to see. Julianna Margulies killed that scene. From the moment he heard Wiley said "Leela", when she paused before opening the door, then when she was crying when she walked out the party. It was sad because Alicia just won her husband that position, by saying "yes" to the interview. Julianna should definitely had this as her Emmy consideration. Now, we had to wait three weeks to find out what will the outcome be.
The only thing missing was Peter; I read that Chris Noth had other obligation, so he cannot shot his scenes for this episode.
Oh, I actually enjoy watching Alicia and Eli -- I read that there would be an "unlikely friendship" after the truth about Peter/Kalinda came out, I would like to guess that maybe Alicia and Eli become friends?
I watched The Lincoln Lawyer yesterday. I read the book five years ago. I NEVER do full re-read (of any books) but I did checked out the last pages of the book before I went to see the movie. I guess, safely to say, that the adaptation was good, EXCEPT that I loved the book ending better. Oh, it wasn't changed, but the book-ending gave a sense that Mickey learned something about this case -- whereas in the movie, it seemed like business went on like usual. By the way, Matthew McCounaghey was actually bearable to watch (I guess my sister was right when she said that Matthew M. was okay IF he played drama) and I always liked to see Marisa Tomei ... AND OMG, I LOVE THE SONGS IN THE MOVIE!!! Too bad that the soundtrack available is only original score, not the songs :(
So I gave the movie a B.
