What I dislike:
+ The enormous plot revolving Blaine. Seriously, is this going to be called "The Darren Criss show"?? Did anyone notice that The Warblers (incl. Blaine) had three songs in this episode (no, I didn't count Kurt's "Blackbird" because that was a solo) while New Directions only had two songs (I didn't count Mercedes's attempt on original song)?? Maybe there should be a Glee spin-off, THEN we can focus on the Glee kids once again
+ I don't think Kurt and Blaine have chemistry. So sue me that all I did when watching THEY KISSED (which was becoming a trending topic at Twitter soon after) was rolling my eyes in disbelief.
What I like:
+ As much as stupid those original songs were (only child/eggs and omelet, troutty mouth, big ass-heart?!?), they made me laugh. And oh my God, Naya Rivera was so good singing jazzy tunes!!!
+ While the Regionals songs were not as epic as "Don't Rain On My Parade" or even Vocal Adrenaline's "Bohemian Rhapsody", I thought "Loser Like Me" had a great tune AND it suited the Glee spirits to the "T". Loved the lyrics ("Push me off against the locker, and hey all I do is shake it off, I push you back when I'm your boss" was my favorite line), about how all losers would win in the end (great optimistic attitude there). Loved the slushies being thrown to the audiences in the end; remind us of what slushies-throw is one of Glee's original "icon". I also loved how Brittany and Santana took center stage as the dancers on Rachel's side. By the way, I want more regarding the continuation of Santana and Brittany, please :)
+ A clue in that Gwyneth will return as Holly. Because the episodes this season I enjoy are the ones with her in it.
I'm totally impressed with Lea Michele's stage presence, by the way. I know that she's a GREAT singer. I listened to "Get It Right" before and it was an okay song. But when she performed it in this episode, OMG, such power, such emotional dedication. She made the song a hundred times better when she performed it live. She was incredible. Let's invite her to "American Idol" to show those contestants what stage command means!
One question, does anyone know ... will we have Nationals in this season or next season??
