072. Sunday Book Discussion: Favorite Male Authors (and more about Tsunami) ...
I'm just going to go with easy topic for today
Who are your favorite MALE authors?
When it comes to authors, I have more female favorites. But I do have some male favorites: Dennis Lehane and Michael Connelly (mystery, fiction), Jim Butcher and Mark Del Franco (urban fantasy), and Josh Lanyon (male/male fiction). How about you? Any male authors that becomes your favorite?
I'm still trying to keep an update to the devastating earthquake/tsunami news. Since my sister understands Japanese, if I have NHK on, I ask her to translate the news for me.
It's heartbreaking to see news like: almost 10.000 people are accounted for in the city of Minamisanriku or how to see the photos about small towns swept away totally by the powerful water. On top of that, there is now the threat of nuclear meltdown after the cooling system does not work. I shudder to think the full effect; definitely do not want Chernobyl 2.0 to happen
