066. Glee 2.15 - Sexy ...

I know that she basically stole all of the performances and some of stories related to her are somewhat ridiculous (cucumber, sex-ed talk with Emma/Carl?), but I found myself loving the show again after being disappointed for 3-episodes in a row. Her performance of "Landslide" with Naya Rivera is probably one of my favorites. Mainly because of how it fits the storyline ...

and oh, my, how it is one of the most tender storylines EVER in the show. Never know that Santana feels that way for Brittany. I always think that it's just the two of them fooling around. But when Santana is crying, telling that she loves Brittany and that she wants to be with her (not Sam or Finn) but she is afraid, and she begs Brittany to tell her that she loves her too ... OH MY GOD, heartbreak!! I just think Naya River brings that down; she packs so much pain in her eyes and I just can't help it, that now my eyes teary everytime I play "Landslide" because I know that it is Santana's love song for Brittany -- and that for now, her love is unrequited.

The other highlight of the episode will be another WIN for Burt Hummell and his sex-ed talk with Kurt. I feel that Papa Hummell has not been getting enough pimp. In this scene, Mike O'Malley shows again why he's my favorite fathers on current TV show. Or maybe favorite father EVER (for me anyway, I don't watch lot of shows with fathers in it). That sex-ed talk is very, VERY good.

Because it's two guys. With two guys, you got two people who think that sex is just sex. It's going to be easier to come by, and once you start doing this stuff, you're not going to want to stop. You just… You've got to know that it means something. It's doing something to you, to your heart, to your self-esteem. Even though it feels like you're just having fun." .... "Kurt, when you're ready, I want you to be able to do everything. But when you're ready I want you to use it as a way to connect to another person. Don't throw yourself around like you don't matter. Because you matter, Kurt."

Seriously. BEST. FATHER. EVER. He puts humor in it too, saying that Kurt should have sex when he is thirty.

Another plus point, HEY, EMMA! YOU'RE ALIVE!!!

Not my favorite episode (unlike "The Substitute") but darn, it does make me care again with the show for a bit.
