Wow. Just went back to read the original entry as you know I was MIA back then. Man, I missed a lot. Sorry if I was a bad friend... anyway sounded like a wonderful opportunity but also your heart wasn't in it. I can't believe they passed you up because you were overqualified. That's nuts!! But yeah, I guess you are where you are supposed to be right now and that is a good thing. I'm excited for you to start your new adventure and share it with us :-)

Writing reviews is a tough job.  I want the review to tell me about the book/movie, but I don’t want any spoilers.  I want the critic to tell me if they liked it or not liked it, but I want to know why.

That is my favorite line of hers and what I always try to do when I review a movie or a book. Of course sometimes I'm too pissed off (in the case of a bad book/movie) to be objective but sometimes I do go back once I've cooled down to rewrite any wrongs. Lol. But basically that line stood out from her article because it's all I ever want too. Of course people are going to be biased regarding topics, how emotions/scenes are described or executed, sex, etc. But at the end of the day if we all do the above we've done the job and let the reader of our review make their own conclusions now :D Thanks for sharing this article. Gonna share with my sisters :-)
