Since I have no projects to do, I went to the cinema and watched Tangled. I LOVED IT. Sure it's classic Disney, meaning predictable to the core (don't forget the evil step mother, or in this case, uhm, "fake" mother? shall we). But hey, Happily Ever After never goes out of style *grin*. I love Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi's voice. The long hair is just ridiculous, how can one runs around with hair that long anyway?!? But you must see when the hair gets braided. Sooo pretty, with flowers *sigh*
... next stop, Glee

Hmph, I feel the sectional as anti-climatic!
Don't get me wrong. I like the idea of 'equality'; that the other members of New Directions get to sing solo/duet, other than Finn, Rachel, and Mercedes. But the songs choice and the singers are just urgh! Sam/Quinn's "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" is just too blah for something as big as sectionals (Sam's voice is just generic and Quinn's is nowhere powerful). And Santana? I love Santana's voice, but that song, "Valerie" is just not right for her. She should've been given something else; like Pink ... These two songs are nowhere as memorable as Rachel's "Don't Rain On My Parade" and New Directions' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" on last year's Sectionals.
Then, what's with the Finn/Rachel breaking up? And Emma's getting married?? Again, sooo anti-climatic. Last year, the Sectionals is the episode where we celebrate the kids winning after they face so many obstacles including Will cannot come to be with them. Now, even if they win, it feels like so many loses as well.
Mike/Brittany rock the dance floor, though. Artie/Brittany are kind of cute. AND I don't care about the haters or critics, I totally LOVE New Direction's version of "Dog Days Are Over". Been playing it on repeat. I know that the original version by Florence + The Machine is exceptional but Mercedes and Tina can carry the tune as well
AND OMG, is this true? James Franco & Anne Hathaway Hosting the Oscars?!? Because THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!! Finally, hosts that are fresh faces, somebody under 35 years old!!! I mean, James Franco (Aaah, James Franco *sigh*) is only 32 years old while Anne Hathaway is 28 years old. I don't care what critics say about this choice. HATERS TO THE LEFT!
