So I took my sister to watch Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 yesterday. Here's what she thinks of it ... "The movie is kinda long, I prefer to have more action/fighting scenes rather than the 17-year-old teen romance plot. But I like it better than movie #6". Also, I don't know whether it is because she has Master's Degree in Literature and pretty much into interpreting things, she thinks the movie is loaded with symbol of fascism (pure blood vs. mudblood plus the mark written on Hermione's hand, like Jews number) and that she is glad J.K. Rowling seems to sided with immigrants. She also noted how the Snatchers are British's punks, from the middle class -- which is clearly different with American's punks. I know, don't ask, it's her brain. Sometimes I just think she overthinks everything she sees in movies *lol*
I also watched Unstoppable by myself, which I liked.
After the movie, she and I also shopped for some make-up necessities. Now, I DON'T use a lot of make-ups. I practically only have moisturizer and loose powder; that's it. BUT, sometimes I think I need to have stocks of foundation and lip care. Just in case. Not that I will use it often. Again, it's just not my thing. My sister, on the other hand, is the "girly" girl between the two of us. Oh, she has complete make-up necessities with her and she understands the beauty of putting them on :)
My plan for this Sunday will involve cooking dishes and finish reading one book. Cooking, you say? Yep, cooking. I found a couple of easy recipes to try. I also need to go out for awhile to buy some blank CDs and fill up the gas on my Dad's car. Other than that, I just checked out the first episode of Lost Girl and I liked it quite a bit. So I might try to watch the next one or two episodes of the show as well.
sister,
