Thanks to those who dropped comment on my last post :p. I just want to know if I could catch up with my flist other than LJ, if you decide to quit from this site. I'm an LJ addict, so I will not move out from here anytime soon. I also don't plan to sign up to another social network/blog website. So I can catch you on Twitter or Goodreads, I'm good. Or in a rare case, if I have your cellphone number and you answered my text, that would make me happy too. At least I know you're alive.
Anyway, a bit take on a couple of TV shows
CSI: New York
I think Sela Ward's character is charming. Surely, Melina Kanakaredes's Stella will be missed. BUT, I survive the last 1.5 years without William Petersen's Gil Grissom too. The show for me is more on the case focus rather than character focused anyway. I usually stop watching a TV show when I no longer care for the characters.
Sela Ward's Jo Danville is a bit different than the rest of the CSIs. She used to be an FBI agent and she brought her take on humanity as well, rather than just technical evidences. She made deduction (which was a bit like Patrick Jane in The Mentalist) and she terrorized Adam *grin*. So it was good. I think I will enjoy her being in the New York Crime Lab in the next episodes. Hopefully she sticks around *cross fingers*
Merlin
I was a bit miffed when I saw the preview last week that this week it would return to the usual programming. I thought, after an intense/action premiere, going back to the "funny" or "everyday" episode was like taking a step back. With Morgana having plotted against Uther's demise, I want the season to be more of that -- the plot to thrown the King's crown.
HOWEVER, this episode must be the most hilarious episode, EVER! I didn't think I ever laughed so hard; so uncontrollably like this before. Seeing Uther's bald, then everybody started farting, and on top of that, ARTHUR'S DONKEY EARS!!! Gosh, I laughed so hard, I had tears in my eyes, and cramps on my stomach. I guess I won't mind a coda-filler episode if it's as funny as this one.
It's been RAINING LIKE CRAZY everyday here in my city. When I said crazy, I meant CRAZY! It poured so hard, and it happened nearly around minimum 4 hours a day. It definitely reduces any desire to go outside. I know that I haven't really gone outside after I resign; I prefer to stay home to read or watch TV. But with weather like this, going outside is not fun anyway. HEAVY Traffic jam everywhere (one could be stuck for hours) and floods *shudders*. Yeah, I prefer the comfort of the house, thank you very much. Today, I will see if I can borrow Dad's car though -- I need to buy a body lotion at The Body Shop, and the nearest counter is about an hour away from my house. I'll ask him later ...
So what's your plan for Sunday?
