I think I have post a couple of sparkling topics for quite awhile, related to books, and I'm running out steam. I'm one of those people who are too lazy to form opinion and said it outloud *g*. Fall TV shows are returning in full force and I will return to the usual TV comments.
In the meantime -- it's Sunday morning here; I still have Haven and Merlin to watch. I also starting season 1 of Cold Case. It's not really like the caliber of CSI or Bones; no actual current dead bodies. But I like the way they use famous songs for each episodes. Not going to be one of my top favorite shows, but I enjoy it nonetheless. Other plans for today including having pizza for lunch. My Dad is out of the town for the day and there are only my Mom, my sister, and I. The helper hasn't returned -- so in order for my Mom not to cook, I have a voucher for a pizza restaurant that can be used.
The other plans, of course, involves finishing one of my book trifecta. Currently the leader of the trifecta is Rob(yn) Thurman's "Nightlife"; first book of the 19-year-old half human/half Auphe Cal Leandros. I think I have another series to enjoy, Cal and his snarky comments are entertaining. Plus his relationship with his half-brother, Niko, is so tight and so strong, well, can you blame me if I take a nostalgic route down the Winchester-boys memory lane?? Especially since I had stopped watching the show?
