237. Book Talk and news from Comic Con ...
Finish a couple of M/M stories by Scarlet Blackwell -- and realized how I love those stories because the relationship was messy and complicated (tomatoe18 will probably rolls her eyes to the ceiling reading this *g*). I admit, I enjoy this type of stories in books so much. I personally think that goodie-goodie love stories, where everything is smooth from the first meeting to the end can be so boring. It's better to have a complicated emotion throws into the mix. Sure it can drive me crazy, going to a roller coaster ride, but it's a good kind of crazy, and it's more captivating that way.
Okay, since I'm up for book talk, why don't you answer these questions for me please
1. Do you read ebooks, at all?
2. If yes, what device do you use? ebook reader, notebook, iPad? Why?
3. If no, will you ever consider reading ebooks?
Movie News ... the cast of The Avengers are announced at this year's Comic Con. I'm not a comic reader but I AM a movie goer. I don't care about the comic/story but I love to see the casts. Still sad over the fact that Edward Norton is replaced as The Hulk, but I like Mark Ruffallo as well, so yep, I'm excited for the movie. If only Scarlett Johansson is not part of this mighty cast *sigh*.
Seriously, I wish I was part of the event, there are Glee Casts (which also gave mighty spoilers for season 2), as well as Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman. I guess it shows that there is nothing wrong being geek. Not that I think comic readers are geek, okay? :)
Tonight, I will watch True Blood, of course, hopefully there are more cute scenes between Lafayette and Jesus *giddy with excitement*
