183. Congratulations GERMANY!!! ...
I haven't supporting Germany for a long time -- this is my little sister's team -- and I have had a bitter relationship with the team for years. However, I've moved on and I have many German friends on my list, so I'm happy that they're happy (well, until the day IF/WHEN German vs. The Netherlands, and I will be all out supporting Oranje).
This is the first post related to World Cup and the first match I saw on TV (the others, I just read the news). I was happy because it was such an great game. Germany totally thrashed Australia -- the Soccaroos's defense was wide open most of the time. I was happy that this young team (with the youngest captain in history, Lahm!) showed that they could do it without Ballack. Too bad for Cahill -- but then again, Australia sort of "stole" one place from the other Asian countries by joining our continent, so I hadn't had nice feeling for the team anyway.
The first The Netherlands' match against Denmark is tonight at 6.30 P.M. my time. I will get out from the office early to catch that game, maybe around 3.30 P.M.. Besides, I just arrived here on Sunday and I have to leave again on Tuesday, so I'm sure my boss wouldn't mind if I give that excuse *g*.
