Crystal: What a way to start the competition, Crystal. Love the fact that she chose electric rather than acoustic. Good advice from Adam
Andrew: God, Adam already told him that his way of singing it slow made it boring (way to go, Adam, you took the words from my mouth), and he didn't really follow the advice to up the beat? YAWN!!!
Tim: "Can't Help Falling In Love" is probably one of the most oversung songs ever, have been recorded so many times ... but I actually really like what Tim did to the song. Go figure! :D
Lee: "Little Less Conversation" is of my favorite Elvis's songs ... and Lee had great voice to nail it. Great gruff but still I feel that he needs to loose himself out there on the stage ;)
Aaron: Hmmm, at least Aaron changed a different beat of songs this time. Not sure I liked it.
Siobhan: It's a weird take to the song, honestly. Faster than slower and it made it, well, weird :(.
Michael: I know Adam wanted Michael to sing it faster (in the spirit of Elvis) but I thought Michael did well ...
Katie: *lol* Good title for her ... I actually enjoyed this sassy thing Katie showed tonight
Casey: One word, HUH?! (that's me being confused with his choice of song)

I know I've been sceptical, but I actually think Adam Lamber made good pointers to the contestants tonight. It's too bad that some of them decided NOT doing what he suggested (hello, Andrew!)

Favorite for the night: Crystal (!), Lee, Tim, Michael
Let's boot Andrew home tomorrow, please!! And I don't know, take Aaron with him as well ...

Oh, show, I miss you so much. But I feel like the winter hiatus doesn't bring anything new to the show. It's the same old thing that the kids are facing. The same old love triangle/quadruple (and again with the slushie?). I like them to be moving forward a bit, especially facing Regionals. I know, I know, I never think that the show is strong in plot wise -- but they do have good episode like "Wheels" or even "Sectionals". I want more episodes like that.

Anyway, let's move on the performance, shall we, because that's what makes me watch this show in the first place.

I don't really like MOST of the songs choice this episode. The only song that I enjoyed was "Gives You Hell". The other was, well, a bit MEH. "Hello" is not one of my favorite songs (in fact, it's one of those songs that can my ears bleed) but Lea and Jonathan did quite well. Still, I don't see myself playing that one in repeat.

Hopefully next week, the power of Madonna, brings more greatness. It's MADONNA!! One of the smartest female entertainers EVER!

Signing off ...
