Aaron: I just realize that "Long and Winding Road" can be very sleepy. And Aaron doesn't help in singing that version slowly *yawn*
Katie: Katie is better than last week and I really love "Let It Be"
Andrew: Andrew is okay, I guess, with "Can't Buy Me Love", little lost in the middle though -- but not my favorite
Michael: Big Mike singin "Eleanor Rigby". It was okay but I'm biased because that song is always be David Cook's song
Crystal: Crystal with "Come Together" is as good as always. Love the gruff in the end. Just like Carly's in season 7, loved it!!
Tim: Tim is okay this week. I can imagine "All My Loving" sung by Jason Mraz *g*
Casey: WOW, Casey is really great this week, singing "Jealous Guy" like current blues/country. I might download that one
Siobhan: At least she doesn't have a chance to scream and shout with "Across the Universe", better than last week
Lee: Lee's voice is perfect for "Hey Jude", but then again, it's already a great song. I don't think Lee can butcher it *lol*; but what's with the bagpipe?!?
Favorite performances: Casey, Crystal, Lee
On a different note, OMG DAVID BOREANAZ AND EMILY DESCHANEL!!! Of course, since Bones is on Fox. But watching them sitting together is just awesome :). Can't wait for the 100th episode.
Also, I love how the contestants talk about the one singing segment. Very funny insight. I mean, Casey = Fabio? *g*. Andrew + Lee = dating and have Danny Gokey babies *lol*. Gosh, we should have this kind of segment every single season!!
I ended up finishing Michael Nava's book instead of Josh Lanyon. And it makes me feel a bit subdued :(. I know I read a lot of romance novels but my first love will and always be novel with a touch of mystery/murder/crime/police procedural. There is nothing more satisfying than reading the process of finding the crime, knowing what the main characters are thinking ... And when the book is good, when it's REALLY GOOD, like this one, it just pulls you in.
I think what I love from this kind of novels is that you can be amazed on what people can do to one another and the reasons behind the crime can be bewildered. But at the same time, you also presented with the strength of the family left behind. Novels like this (also TV shows like CSI and CSI: NY, it reminds me that people can be complicated.
After this book, I might switch again to the M/M romance or mystery novels.
On the TV side, Castle was really funny, touching the Indiana Jones flare like that (gosh, I love how the team are playing with Castle with the curse!!). I watched two of the first episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles, and enjoyed it, so I might continue. AAAAANDDDD ... THERE IS A NEW EPISODE OF THE GOOD WIFE tonight for me! YAY!!!
