373. Sisterhood is fun *g* ...
My new mantra: Just one more week, just one more week. So let me survive this week by finishing ALL the work that I need to finish
My cousin is getting married on the 10th ... he's a year younger than myself, which makes him surpass me in the marriage department. I have two older cousins (from my Mother's side of the family -- I'm not anywhere close to the cousins from my Dad's) who are already married. Now, my younger cousin is married. And another younger cousin of mine including my own sister, are in relationship. Which left yours truly, who is not in any kind of relationship much less getting married. Nope, I'm not bitter. Just stating the fact ;p
ANYWAY, my sister had this kebaya made for the wedding (kebaya is a form of Indonesian traditional dress, you can see the examples here). It is VERY fitting to her body because she wants to show her shape. But when she tried it last night, it was a bit too tight. She is a bit stressed out now (she is in her pre-menstrual period so she thinks that her boobs are getting bigger) and only has A WEEK to control her food intake so that dress will fit her. And all I do is ... teasing her mercilessly *giggles*. Yes, I know, I'm being a mean older sister. But it's just fun! She can only grumbles and punches me (playfully, of course) *lol* As for myself, I will use a dress for the wedding but it's a rather loose dress, so I'm not worried about having to diet. I like my body just the way it is, thank you very much. Even if I'm nowhere slim :)
Just a rambling story of sisterhood ... ;p.
I finished my 65th book this year. Meaning that I have achieved my 2nd book target (my first target was 50 books and I reached that goal in August, which prompted me to make a 2nd one). I ROCK!! This is probably my best reading statistic for years, not counting when I was younger (where I read more books because I hadn't properly introduced to the seduction of TV shows). I will now set up a 3rd goal, to make it 75 books instead. I figure I still have 3 months to try to achieve that. GO ME!
