As I am writing this, it's 6.00 A.M on Saturady. It also means that I have not slept for 26 hours.
Yes, I woke up Friday morning at 4.00 A.M. then did what weekdays suppose to be. I arrived at my parents' house last night at 9.30 P.M., I was going to hit the bed after watching the season finales of Supernatural and Grey's Anatomy -- but I ended up doing other things in my notebook.
So, here I am -- haven't closed my eyes ... there is NO WAY, I will be able to go out anywhere today. I will probably sleep while driving and that is not a healthy thought. I think after taking a bath and have breakfast, I will just go to sleep for awhile. Lack of sleep and kill your brain, right? After that, I can watch more season finales. I still have season finales of Bones, CSI: NY, and CSI *yawn*
Supernatural 4.22 - Lucifer Rising
What a disappointment!! All this season, the episodes seemed to be building up to a war between Heaven and Earth, between demons and angels, and THIS is what we get?!? An episode with dialogs for like 30 minutes -- meaningless fight over the Winchesters and then Lucifer rising? That's it?!? Where is the action?? I'm quite upset because this show has been constantly good and has always been able to deliver a good finale.
Let's just hope that Kripke redeems himself in season 5.
Verdict
Season Rating: B
Season Finale Episode: C-
Grey's Anatomy 5.23 & 5.24 - Here's To The Future/It's Now Or Never
The previous episode was better. Maybe because I know now that everything that happens builds up to this situation a.k.a. the cliff-hanger of Izzie and George's destiny. It doesn't really surprised me. My tears have been used up during Alex/Izzie's wedding. Plus, I'm a bit bummed that after the proposal, we still have not seen Mer/Der tie the knots.
The John Doe turns out to be George is not really shocking either. Maybe because I already watch a similar plot, namely E.R., almost 12 years ago -- when all the doctors are working to save a John Doe patient whose life hanging on the line, only to realize by the pager beeping that they actually handling one of their own. It has more impact by then, more shocking. So this time, I just shrugs and say, "Oh".
Thing that makes me all happy is Cristina/Owen's moving forward. Cristina saying "I love you" is probably one of the best line reading ever done (effectively) in this series. "Me. Cristina Yang" (like she is surprised with the confession as well). "I can't breathe ... without you" (OMG, Cristina!!!). Also it is really nice to see Meredith and Cristina hug each other (Cristina giving the something old, new, borrowed, and blue is sweet) as well as Izzie and George in one scene again (I miss their friendship, before the "love" situation ruins everything")
Season Rating: B- (because the whole sex with ghost thing just loathsome!)
Season Finale Episode: B-
Feels like a heavy led on my eyes. So heavy *yawn*
