First stop, the finale ...
Tommy in Mexico
I wasn't looking forward to Tommy's return -- BUT when I did see him again in this finale, somehow, I felt glad. It was nice seeing him doing fine down in south of the border. He did look like he was making the fountain project as salvation. When he cried in Nora's arm, I felt like he DID feel remorse. Then we saw the fountain worked and he picked up the photo that Sarah left there. Maybe we will never see him again, maybe we will, but for the time being, for me, at least, it felt like closure.
Kitty, Robert
Is it the point of no return for them? My sister and I talked about this -- Reni said that Robert, with all his flaws, he was loyal to his wife, to his marriage. Sure, he might give first priorities to his career but he didn't cheat on his wife. Not the first time, not with Kitty. To be his wife, one must be ready to be in the background. I'm not sure if Kitty can do that -- so I still don't know what will happen after the summer hiatus. But the way she ran after the chopper, I still keep my faith that they are going to work it out.
Justin, Rebecca, Holly
My sister and I also understood why Holly seemed to be in reserve when hearing the news. Rebecca DID act impulsively a couple of times. But, we hope that Holly could be happy and gave the couple a chance. David seemed to be more accepting because he was also a man who had been given second chance. It was truly sweet how Justin proposed in front of the family, though. An *awwww* moment for sure. Plus they use "Wonderwall" from Ryan Adams (sigh)
Saul, Ryan
Gosh, Saul truly took the fall for every William's affairs, huh? I am not looking forward to Ryan's return next season. But does this means Saul will finally get a meaningful storyline? Because if so, maybe I can endure Ryan's appearance ...
Wow, Kevin really knew how to hold a grudge. It is understandable though, he did tell Scotty that he didn't know if he could EVER forgive Tommy. Scotty really knew his husband well, huh, of course Kevin should be there in Mexico. Despite him being all sarcastic and rude to Tommy, I believe that he needed to be there. He needed to make a closure as well. PLUS, I truly think that what he said was actually the things that the family NEEDED to hear about Tommy. They couldn't just forgive and forget about what he had done. So Kudos to my favorite character *hugs Kevin*
By the way, the "silent" dinner, where they all loooked like doing charade, was HILARIOUS!!!!
I enjoy the finale, better than the season 3 opener.
I cannot believe that I will have to wait until September to see this family again *sobs*. BUT, in the meantime, I promise that I will give a full recap of Brothers & Sisters Season 3. Favorite episode, least favorite episode, most memorable, most hilarious, etc. So here it is, everyone. It is LONG ... and it contains HEAVY SPOILERS. Only read this if you have seen ALL episodes of Season 3
Most Favorite Episode
"Just a Sliver" (3.10) -- because it's perfectly well written. From the beginning to the end. And it has beautiful Kevin/Scotty moments :)
Least Favorite Episode
"A Father's Dream" (3.11) - The whole dream sequence including Kevin kissing Julia is weird. Then Tommy asks Kevin to sign the stupid contract. It's an awkward episode; one of the weakest. Even if I can see Scotty with World War soldier uniform.
Most Favorite Moment(s) from Favorite Character(s):
Kevin: During the two parter episode; when he takes care of Robert to the hospital; then cries when he talks to Scotty. I love him so; I want to hug him and console him
Justin: When he calms everybody about Robert's situation then tells Rebecca that he wants to be a doctor (again, during the two parter episode). That is one moment when I feel so very proud of the youngest Walker
Scotty: When he tells Kevin to make a decision; whether to out himself to the client or keep lying about him being gay. I just love Scotty there so very much.
Most Favorite Moment(s) from Favorite Ship(s):
Kevin/Scotty: When they're cuddling in the hospital before Kevin's operation. It's a tender moment and I am so in love with it
Justin/Rebecca: When he proposes (the first time) and she says "yes"
Most Favorite Moment(s) from Non Ship(s):
Kitty and Tommy: When Kitty approaches Tommy outside the hospital and shares talk about Elizabeth and adoption. Very touching
Sarah and Justin: When Justin comes to Sarah when he and Rebecca breaks up. It's a wonderful oldest sister/baby brother moment. So, so beautiful ...
Sarah and Scotty: When she confides to him about being lonely and he tells her to do something about it
Most Favorite Storyline(s):
Sarah and the Greenatopia; because it gives her a chance to shine without Ojai; makes her fun and well, it's nice to see her with the young guys

(1) Ryan!!
(2) Tommy and everything that leads him to Mexico

(2) The dinner where Justin invites Paul and Kevin bought Scotty a house (OMG, that one is HILARIOUS!! The look on everyone's face!!! Even if end up with Scotty leaving the table.)

Most "Make Me All Teary-Eyed" Moment(s)
(1) Tommy breaks down before Elizabeth's surgery

(3) The whole "life" and "death" sequence during Evan's birth and Robert's heart attack
Most Favorite Guest Star/Recurring Guest Star:
(1) Ethan and Kyle; The Greenatopia guys
(2) Chad; because he suggests three-way *lol*
(3) Henry; because he survives Walker's dinner and he's good for Saul, yes?
Least Favorite Guest Star/Recurring Guest Star
(1) Ryan. He needs to go far, far away!!
(2) Graham. I just don't like him. Period
Most Favorite Song Featured in an Episode:
Quincy Coleman "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" at the end of the two parter episode. That song is just beautiful and very powerful for the episode.
Overall Rating of the Season
I think the season is not as awesome as Season 2 BUT it is still solid. There are improvements in each character's lives. Even if I have to endure Ryan but he brings Justin/Rebecca back (although he is also the one who starts everything by telling Nora about Tommy) but I love the season from the very beginning. I will give it a solid B+.
Phewww ... I never do this with other TV shows!! Anybody else want to follow my step with their own fandom? *lol*
Tomorrow, I will post the answers of
my ship guessing meme. Almost ALL of the couples have been guessed right (see, I know that I don't give difficult clues). But not one of you guess all 15 of them. So, if there is anybody in my flist who still want to give it a try, go ahead. But if you want to know who's the winner, wait till tomorrow (my time).
