I worked from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. yesterday, then have a massage for an hour. After that, my sister and I went out to visit a couple of factory outlets and had dinner. My sister did
Going with her, for this work trip, does make work feels less like work. When we went shopping, it felt like I was in short holiday instead, which was nice. I bought two tops for myself (costs me about Rp. 170.000 for both, or around US$ 15 with current currency) and two tops for my Mom (costs Rp. 149.000 or around US$ 13). Shopping in Bandung is always fun. There is less possibility that I can get as cheap as that in Jakarta. My sister ended up with two pairs of strappy sandals, a cargo pants, a legging, and a bolero. She also bought a pair of sandals for my Mom. And she says that she dislikes shopping. Hypocrite much *lol*. Then again, She has always been a better money saver than myself. BUT, considering I only bought two tops for me, when I could spend more, I actually proud of myself last night *lol*
Today I will work again from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. and will return back to Jakarta afterwards. Tomorrow is a national holiday, due to Indonesia's election. Friday is also a national holiday because it's Good Friday. Long weekend, y'all!! Though I might still have to work on my report on the long weekend but it also gives a chance for me to do other things. Yeah, like watching more TV episodes or a movie or two *grin*
In the meantime, my thought on
... I did know that there would be major death in House M.D. but I never really thought that it would be Kutner. It was sad because I love him than the other two new ducklings. He was fun, he was perceptive, and sometime he could come up with very brilliant diagnosis. That was why, I thought, it hit House hard. Not only that he didn't see it coming but I also believe that House liked him better than the other two. Let's just say that Kutner amused him.
I like the suicide storyline though ... because it feels real. Taub is right, sometimes suicide is not about a crying for help, sometimes people just do it. There might be explanation for it but there are people who mask their problem better. I love the final shot of House, holding a photo of a much less happy, no smile, Kutner. Could that be the sign he missed? It made the prior episode before this, when Kutner let Taub get the glory, and the way he answered House when he asked whether Kutner was okay with it, could also be some sort of sign that Kutner was ready to say goodbye?
It would be interesting to see what Kutner's death bring to the rest of the group in the next episodes ...
P.S.: It's interesting to see Omar Epps in this suicide-plot once again. For those who watched E.R., you might remember him as Gant who also committed suicide by jumping in front of the train. One of the most powerful episode ending EVER in the show!
P.S.S.: LOVE THE SONG by PETE YORN!
