It is raining, here, in Purwokerto. I'm at the hotel lobby, browsing the Net, hoping that the GA episode will finish soon. The group will start on 9 A.M. tomorrow. Meaning that I have to prepare a bit early than today. I will be heading back home to Jakarta tomorrow with a 6 PM flight from Yogyakarta. Probably arrive at my parent's house around 9 PM? I guess Sunday will be all rest and no work for me. Considering I will have to leave out of town again on Monday morning.
Today, I heard the horrible news about a dam breaking due to heavy rains in Jakarta, killed tens of people, and the area is about 10 km from my parents' house. CNN dubbed it "
Suburban Tsunami". My Mom texted me, while I was trying to get a nap this noon and I was really sad to hear the news. I know the area. I've been AROUND the area so many times from or on my way from home. It is surreal when a tragedy happens in an area that you know of. Deep condolences to all the people that have become the victims.
I watched another gay-themed movie this morning, Arizona Sky. It had its moments, I admit my eyes were teary during a couple of scenes (Eric Dean was pretty convincing at those moments). It was an okay-ish movie, but still, doesn't really deserve a medal or something. Can I ask Ang Lee or Wong-Kar Wai to make another gay-themed movies that can take my heart away?? *sigh*
