My Dad took a DVD .avi collection of mine without asking my permission first. After a couple of minutes into the movie, he called me to ask something ...
(translated into English)
Dad: "Ami, why is the subtitle not synchronized?"
Me: "What are you watching?" (curious)
Dad: "'Gone, But Not Forgotten'"
Me: "Gay movie?"
Dad: "Wait, so that is a gay film?"
Me: "Yeah"
Dad: "How about 'East Side Story'?
Me: "Yeah, that too"
Dad: "So all of the movies in this DVD are gay films?"
Me: "Pretty much, yeah. That's why you should always ask me first"
It's just so amusing *giggle*. It's not that my Dad hates gay people. He just don't get them, which I think is common. But he's not anti-gay or anything, he can pretty much accept that his daughter loves watching gay-film *laugh*. So, he ended up watching Love and Other Disasters, which of course has Matthew Rhys as a gay character ^_^.
I watched a BBC TV movie called Einstein and Eddington. It's pretty good. All of you Dr. Who fans will enjoy seeing David Tennant as Arthur Eddington here. And oh, my reading mood comes to a halt. I haven't made any good progress with Dark Lover *sigh*. I guess I will just watch another TV episodes ... I mean, CSI: NY was pretty good this week. Put spotlight on Sid and returned to the Greek coin case. I love this show.
