082. Brothers & Sisters - and book #15 ...

  • Wow, intense dinner!! Just when I laughed over the "welcoming" gesture that the Walkers gave Ryan.
  • I am so upset with Tommy's defense. I cannot follow his logic. He must've known what his mother feels about William's embezzlement. Then he said "Really? Well, you sure loved living off of it, Mom" thing to Nora? I would slap him myself. To think that Holly might have the whole thing off because Rebecca has asked her for it. The whole family member just seemed to resigned, even Kevin (love the way he put his face on his hand)
  • I know that Justin and Rebecca are pretty much doomed if the news of embezzlement is out, but I thought they could still survive one more episode. I guess I was wrong.
  • Ryan moved fast, though, becoming Rebecca's BFF over this

  • I loved it when Justin appeared at Sarah's doorway. Justin is closer to his sisters and I always love to see the relationship between the oldest and youngest Walker
  • I thought that it was the first serious riff between Nora and Saul, hope they can patch things up
I do think it's a solid episode; I give it a B. I guess Balthazar's Getty departure is pretty much set. I still hope we can see Julia after Tommy is gone. I am wondering how the family will handle this one, though. I do think that it is worse than William's "sin" because well, he died. But Tommy is not and everybody have to face it.

I can't wait to show this episode to my li'l sister. She watches the show too, though she is never on the same fandom level as I am (she is not really a huge fandom of anything TV or movies, smart girl she is *g*). I'd like to hear what she thinks. By the way, was it weird when I was so happy when she blurted, "Kevin's husband is so patient" during the last 2-hour episode?? I believe that means my sister approves of Scotty and THAT makes me happy!! Hell, anybody who love Kevin/Scotty makes me happy :p

My 15th book, Agnes and the Hitman is my 3rd favorite this year. It's so FUNNY!! I laughed so much, I was glad that I read it at home. I'm sure people will think of me as crazy if I read it in public. It's just hysterical ... the characters, the banters, the situation (killer frying pan!! flamingo-themed wedding!) and the descriptions. Like this for example ...

Agnes nodded, trying to be open-minded. "What if we found proof? We could blackmail her with that. Unless you wanted to turn her in to the cops now." It does seem odd, talking like this about Lisa Livia's mother, until you remembered that Lisa Livia's mother was Brenda Fortunato. Rasputin's kid probably had the same conversation

My God, I laughed so hard over the last line. I can't remember the last time I am having so much fun! But I can always count on Jennifer Crusie's books. I will continue with book #16 and hope can continue this reading streak ep...
