Since Monday is a national holiday and yesterday (Saturday), I was out from morning till night (went to watch two movies at Jiffest), I totally lost track of time. I forgot that today was Sunday. The "worse" thing of remembering? I remember that I must work on my research report because the deadline is on Tuesday!! It's not fun to work on Sunday -- but I don't really have a choice. I'm not sure whether I have time tomorrow because I do have a plan to go out again. Well, we'll see ...
In the meantime, here's some short opinions on what TV shows and a movie ...
This episode feels subdued -- the death is an accident. Then there is a "trip back" down the lane of Vegas on the old days. Then, there is a scene of Grissom and Catherine walk together side by the side at the closing. It just reminds me more and more than there will only be two more episodes with Grissom here *sad*
The only two things that make me feel that the show is still worth to watch?
1. The innuendos of Cristina/Hunt throughout the episode: he comes to see her at Cardio, he asks whether she knows who she is going to pick, THEN tells her that he picked her for the solo surgery, and of course the last scene at the vent room *sigh*. I love the fact that they keep it under the radar. I love it so much because it makes the relationship special. Unlike those other hook-ups at the hospital, where everybody ends up with everybody (Really?!)
2. The friendship of Mark and Callie. It's just so bloody cute of her to come to him and talks about the "crazy-hot-new-intern". I want Mark and Callie to be like Phoebe and Joey or Carrie and Stanford (taking out the gay factor, of course) -- where there is a healthy male/female friendship.
Other plots in this episode makes me want to poke my eye with a pencil, knock my head with sledgehammer, shoot the TV point blank, or anything JUST TO NOT SEE DENNY!! And Alex going all sappy with the I love you's?!? Really?!? I want the old bad boy bad ass Alex back. It's enough to see sappy guys in Derek and George. Now Alex too? Thank God for Major Hunt.
This French movie is so friggin entertaining!! I laugh throughout the movie. It's so funny to see the whole misunderstanding with the strong thick accent of the North French people. I love it. I love the whole movie
I update my movie-watch goal again. This year has been good for my watching movies. I passed the #100 mark in July. I passed the #150 mark in November. And early this week, I passed the #175 mark.
Now, I am stretching a new goal of 200 movies. I still have 22 movies to watch if I want to pass that goal line. But I am quite optimistic that I can watch at least one movie a day for the next 23 days. Plus during the Christmas holidays, I think I can watch more movies. It'll be my new record. Support me will you
