I finished the rest 6 episodes of GA season 2 last night. And I can't say how much I love this TV show. It rocks my world. This is the first time I love a TV show this much ever since "Friends" and "Sex and the City" are over. I love all the characters here like crazy. Each and every one of them, with their flaws and all.
I love the season finale. Just like I told
tea_sky in my email for her, my heart just gave out to Izzie. When Denny died and she cried like crazy, and Alex consoled her and hugged her that way. I know that Alex can be a jerk sometimes but I know he is nice and sweet and he does the right thing. He knows what to say when it is needed. Like when he snapped at George or when he told the truth about a patient dying so the patient could warn her daughter.
The part where Alex picked Izzie up from the hospital bed, I fell in love with the two of them BAD. It is just so tender and so incredibly touching. I ended up with my eyes all teary. When Izzie walked out of the prom with Alex and George towing behind her, she looked like a princess. Head held high with two bodyguards, that was my impression. It's a great cliffhanger.
By the way,
angiescully, you must be happy to know that I finally had teary eyed for the first time in GA when Meredith and Derek finally decided to put Doc to sleep. I can't stand seeing animal died that way. It was soooo sad!!
And now I can't believe that I must wait another year to see Season 3 -- because I have to wait for the DVDs and all. Jeez, Louise!!!
By the way, it is so great to see Chris O'Donnell again -- all grown up and all. Used to have a big crush on him when I first watched him in "Scent of a Woman" back in like 1992. I loved that movie so very much. Been watching it a number of times now. I just fell for Chris' blue eyes. And now he is 37 years old, has been married for the past 10 years and a father of 4 kids *sigh*. He is still look great!
PS: Justin Chambers a.k.a Alex Karev has also been married for the past 13 years with 5 kids!! WOW! Just a small fact I found out recently
