... My sister made it!! ...
This entry will mainly be about family ^_^. My sister, Reni, finally graduated from university. My sister majors in Japanese Literature at University of Indonesia, Jakarta. Yesterday morning, she presented her final paper on "Influence of Characters Oscar de Jarjayes on Manga Rose of Versailles". "Rose of Versailles" is a very popular manga (Japanese comic), which was written in a 70's.
She said that the presentation went very well. It only lasted for 45 minutes. I was relief because she was pretty nervous the previous day. But she said she managed to overcome the nervousness during presentation. She hasn't received the grade for the overall presentation yet, because the faculty still needs to wait for other students to present their papers. Her grade might be available around July. But that is okay, she already deserve a "graduate" status. Her graduation ceremony won't be until September though.
So yesterday, she went to a mall, to have a bit celebration on herself. She bought vodka (only 10% alcohol and it was with fruity taste) and then watched a movie. I joined her later that day and then we both watched another movie. She then returned to my rented room and slept overnight.
I am so proud of her. She is a very smart and dilligent student. So different then myself *g*. My final GPA is only 3,14 while I am sure she can reach a 3,5 GPA. And she can speak Japanese, of course ... compared to me. I hope that everything goes well for her, either if she decides to continue her study by looking for scholarship in Japan, or look for a job.
As for the World Cup update, go Spain!! And I hope Ecuador can handle Germany tonight. I want to see Germany vs. England in the Round of 16 ^_^. Then, I will try to relax and enjoy Argentina vs. Holland the next day ... since they are both through to the Round of 16 anyway.
