Happy 4th of July!
Well, it's the fourth of July! Yay...FREEDOM! haha okay.
I went to the Novi Mall with my brother on Thursday. I bought myself a VERY cute shirt for VERY cheap at Gadzooks. I was VERY pleased. After shopping we went to the pet store. Lowell wanted to buy a dog, but they started at $500 and he didn't want to spend that much. I must admit...there was a cute one! He was small and just sat there and stared. My kind of pet! I wouldn't have to entertain it all the time. haha. After looking at pets we went to the Van's Skateboard Park. It was awesome. If I lived in Novi I would get a job there. There was one guy who was working in the store half of it and then he got bored and just walked over to the ramps and started skating. I wish I had a job like that! After that we wanted to get some food so we flipped a coin between Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings. I'd never been to either so I wanted to go to one. We ended up going to Hooters. It was gross! The food was amazing though! But the girls had there shorts so high up that half there butt was hanging out! It was disgusting. There was a group of bikers eating there and they were very entertaining! They kept singing and dancing...it was real funny!
I went to Carol's house on Saturday. We hung out on her lake ALL day! It was lots of fun. At first I wasn't going to go swimming because the water had lots of sea weed...sick! I hate that junk. So I just took the paddle boat out with my Dad and then after dinner I took the kayake out. I love kayaking! When I got in from kayaking Carol asked me to paddle boat back out to the dock so we could get Brian and Chris. Well, stupid me went! Once we got out there the guys jumped on the side of the boat and were trying to tip us. Let me tell you...Chris is like a body builder so I really thought he was going to! It was pretty much under at one point so I jumped in because I didn't want it to land on me. Well, I was definitly the only one that got freaked out and jumped off. Then they were all like "we weren't really going to flip you" YEAH RIGHT! So, I get on the dock and Brian let me use his towel while they all jumped around and junk. So of course I thought since I was using his towel I would be okay. I was wrong! Chris came after me and I got away, but he grabbed the towel. So now I have nothing to hold hostage...wonderful! So Chris and Brian come after me and throw me in and I got that nasty water in my mouth...sick! I probably got thrown in about 5 times! It was nuts. I got Brian one time, but couldn't get Chris because...again...he's really strong! After that escapade Carol and I paddled back in and told the guys we would come back after them. Mwahaha. We didn't. They swam about half way back thru all the nastiness and then Stacey got another boat and got them. At 9pm the fireworks started to go off. I layed on a raft in the middle of the lake all cuddled up in a blanket. It was perfect! The fireworks were coming from EVERWHERE and they were right above me! I thought they would hit me! About an hour went by and I look over to the dock...where I was hooked up to...or at least thought I was! I was floating out to the middle of the lake! grrr. Stupid Chris and Brian tricked me! I was freaking out because I couldn't swim back in my clothes. So, then I started slowly floating back to the dock...weird. They had hooked the raft to the dock with fishing line so I couldn't see that i was still connnected!
Today I woke up real early...7:30! that's insane for summer time! I went to Brighton and walked in the parade with the band. The sound was all messed up, btu I still had a good time! My feet are killing me now, but it was worth it! After the parade my mom and I spent some time at the office. Got a little work done and then Ms. Obnoxious came in so we left! lol. I took my mom to Dairy Queen. Spent over 6 dollars just on ice cream...GOODNESS! I'm not watching fireworks tonight since I already did. Instead I'm going to the movies to see The Perfect Man. I heard that the star is Brenton House, which makes sense because he's perfect. :) Anyway...The only way I'll see fireworks is if there are some going off by my house. Which, there usually are! WOOO!
