"I don't really want to do pub gigs with Charlie. She's disorganised, inconsiderate, and doesn't like to prepare. Putting a backing track on shouldn't be a lifeline, your lifeline should preparation. I hate you, and everything you stand for."
Next time he rings, I will say something closer to the latter.
