One thing has been bugging me for a while. I wasn't sure if it had been addressed before I got here or not. Still, I've not seen anything about it, so might as well ask.

Not everyone here can possibly be speaking English as their primary language on a regular basis, can they? I mean, that's what I hear... but given our varied origins, I wouldn't think that'd be possible for all here, even if some speak it as a second language (I believe some of the countries tend to speak in their native tongues, resulting in a recognizable difference).

So, uh... what gives? Am I just underestimating the scope of a certain form of common, or is this one modification that the doctors put in for our convenience that is actually convenient, for once.
