[Anyone walking along the B hallway just might notice Lockon laying on the floor, quite unconscious, with a dislocated jaw. For all you know, it was Lyle trying to steal his unborn baby.]

[Tieria was just headed down the hall to find the library - at least he heard there was one - he was entirely disoriented since he never leaves his room, however he does manage to trip over Lockon, and thus slight panic ensues. He kneels on the floor next to him, not really sure what he's supposed to do since this sort of thing wasn't something he often dealt with.

It was especially traumatic considering that this would have been the second time Lockon had gotten hurt due to some kind of neglect on his own part (not really, Tieria just has this sort of guilt problem). He is entirely at a loss for words, or actions, anything. His mind had completely locked up.]

[....Still unconscious here, but at least he's breathing. That's good, right? Seriously though, who would hit a cripple!?]

[Lyle knows anatomy a little better than to try retrieving an unborn baby from a man by breaking his jaw. That is totally not where they grow.

ANYWHO, yeah, this scene right here? Not what Lyle expected to walk into at all. He rushes over and asks Tieria if he knows what the hell happened and tries to get a damage report out of him. He's on autopilot for the moment. Business first, freak out later (even if said freak out is building up quite nicely if the tightness in his chest is any indication).]

[News to Tieria, he just assume girls are built like boys. Only with funny things on their chests.

Tieria doesn't relaly know how to answer at first, mostly because he's torn between being really angry at Lyle for being Lyle, and being really concerned about Lockon. But he figures he should at least answer the question, as if its not obvious what happened.]

I- I don't know, I just found him this way.

[Someone is eventually going to have to give Tieria the talk. Lyle votes not-him.

Lyle nods in an absent, almost irritated fashion and forgoes asking more questions in order to check the damage. It kind of sucks that Neil only has one eye, since that prohibits Lyle from being able to check if the pupils are uneven. Despite that, the jaw issue is the one that is obviously more pressing at the moment. Lyle makes a disgruntled noise in the back of his throat before looking over at Tieria.]

This'll go quicker if I've got as much leverage as possible, so I'm going to need you to hold his head still.

[Aww but think of the lulz.

Tieria's just sort of kneeling there because he really is entirely lost. Sure, he's been hurt before, but he's never had to fix it. Sick bay took care of that. Really this just came down to Tieria's total inexperience with the real world.]

Wait, what are you talking about?

[...It would be hilarious. But if it were Lyle giving the Talk he would feel obligated to spice it up for amusement's sake, complete with diagrams and maybe even a limerick. Chances are Tieria would hit him hard enough that he would feel it for months.

Lyle doesn't mean to sound harsh, but he's hoping to get this done before Neil comes to. He grits his teeth and closes his eyes.]

I want you to hold his damned head still so I can pop his jaw back where it belongs. Preferably before the swelling gets worse. Think you can do that?

[Tieria would beat him out of sheer embarrassment on his part, not even because Lyle's a dick.

And Tieria really does not like being ordered around by Lyle. Like. At all. But he puts his hands on either side of Neil's head, rather gingerly because he's not good with the physical contact thing, even, apparently, with unconscious people.]

...yes

[One of his hands twitch. It's possible he'll come to soon.]

Thank you.

[His eyes widen as Neil moves.]

Dammit, better move fast.

[Lyle takes a deep breath before setting his own jaw in a subconscious reaction to what is about to come. Out of his coat he pulls, of all things, one of the left over clean, unused socks that had been used to make puppets in the craft room the other day. Once ripped, it makes a fairly decent padding for his thumbs. Lyle reaches inside Neil's mouth, placing his thumbs on the back molars and presses. It helps that Neil is prone because it allows him to just use his body weight to back it up.

The mandible clicks into place with an audible, sickening pop.]

I think that ought to do it. Wanna see if he comes to before moving him?

[A considerable amount of the irritation has drained out of Lyle's voice by now.]

[Only moments after his jaw is reset, he wakes up, pushing himself up on an elbow, and rubbing his face gingerly]

Jesus, Mary and Joseph....

[Tieria pulled his hands away sharply, falling back off his heels, sprawled out on the tile floor. He wasn't entirely sure what just happened, but the cracking noise he heard could not have been comfortable, in fact it made the hairs stand up on the back of his neck, rendered completely speechless.

This one really needed to man up.]

[Sitting up fully, he turned to look at Tieria for a moment, who seemed quite spooked. He blinked a few times, still coming out of the daze. God. Damn. did that hurt. He softly felt at one of the sorest spot at the top back of his jaw, and it was just as swollen as he had expected it to be. He opened his mouth slowly, calculated, grimacing after a certain point.]

Gyaa

[Yeaaah. That sure didn't feel good. This time when he spoke it was in a fairly low voice trying not to move too much, directed at Lyle.]

Dislocated?

[It was strange. Perhaps it was the fact that he had not been there when Neil passed away like every other member of Celestial Being but this--having seen Neil battered and unconscious on the floor--was more of a wake up call about his brother's mortality than all the times that someone had told Lyle that his twin was dead. Maybe it was the lack of distance, maybe it was the fact that seeing is believing.

Whatever the case, when Neil moves, Lyle slumps to his knees in utterly boneless relief. To his credit, he somehow manages to keep the waver out of his wry half-smile]

Yeah, dislocated. You probably shouldn't talk much. We can get you some ice for the swelling. Then, once it hurts less, you can tell us what the hell happened.

[He nodded, still instinctively cradling his jaw. He repositioned his feet under him and moved to stand up, still a little wobbly.]

Guess I can test out this place's regeneration-effect now.

[He chuckled, but it ended up smarting worse than he expected. Perhaps he should forgo the tough guy act for now.]

[Tieria's train of thought had gone almost to the exact place Lyle's had. Tieria had never seen Neil has he met his demise, only heard the final transmission. He'd played what it may have looked like in his mind over and over again. Perhaps too many times. He hated seeing that eyepatch, he hated knowing it had been his fault, in both instances. He could have tried harder, he could have insisted more, he could have...he could have done more.

Tieria can feel a cold sweat on his skin, and he suspects that he's shaking slightly, but he feels so numb he can't really tell. He never wanted to see this scene again, it was just too much. Tieria looked away, staring blankly at the wall next to him. He needed to gain composure. He just couldn't deal with this. He hated how emotional he had become, it was too difficult. He couldn't deal with humanity if this was what it meant.]
