[Lyle looks like he's about to say something exasperated, and truth be told, he was. In his mind, Mello's chip-on-his-shoulder call to arms didn't really say much and it sounded desperate, not like an organized or thought out venture.]

Last time when there was weird stuff going on in the chapel it seemed significant. I've not gotten a chance to look at it yet, so for all I know it could be important.

I'm not about to rush in half-cocked. Or even rush in, period. But I'm curious about what's going on.

If anything is deemed "significant" with the asylum being in the state its in, I think that a perfect reason to stay away from it. I'm not about to take any chances, and I suggest you do the same. He's no concern of ours.

Just being around here is 'taking a chance' by default. We're damned if we do and damned if we don't here. Why not sate curiosity while we're at it?
