Photojournalistic Success!!
I did not get paid.
I did not even get a credit.
Mainly because I am not an official photographer for the newspaper, and cause I am a rookie. (most of rookies don't :( )
But it was a bloody good gig and a picture I took (of my fav Bombay Band and friends, ZERO) while covering the event for DNA newspaper got printed today. So yayyyyyy!
It was fun...The bands that were playing also included Aftertaste, Metal Messiah and Prayag...good gig, though the sound could definitely be better. I took around 30 pictures of the concert...and of course they chose to print the one that wasn't the best in my opinion...heh heh.
For my fellow Bombay peoples who are reading this right now, check out the "DNA Zone" in the main DNA paper for the article about the 'Noise Lane' gig, part of the Exponent 2006 event of the Narsee Monji Institute Of Management Studies (NMIMS).
