well, i might as well update now. i don't have much else to do. yesterday: class was lame because i had to take a test. work sucked. adam and i went to the waterfront to rock bottom for dinner. not very good. last night at about 11:30 we rushed splinter to the vet cause she's not doing well. we thought she hurt her leg and i had made an appointment for thursday to have it checked out. she kept getting worse and last night i was really scared she was going to die. i started crying and begged adam to go to the vet. they have emergency services there until midnight, so off we went. when they checked her out, the doctor said that her legs were fine but it seemed like she might have this disease but i can't remember what it was called. it's pretty much equivalent to an inner ear infection in humans. it causes her to be off balance and lean to the left and fall over and get nauseated. they shaved a little part of her and gave her an injection of fluids and nutrients. we were sent home with an antibiotic that we have to give to her out of a syringe and some really nutritious food stuff. she's taking the medicine really well. she has to take it twice a day, so she's had her doses today. she just needs to rest.
today was fairly uneventful. went to class, got my test back. didn't do well at all. damnit! class was so boring that i could hardly stay awake. went to work, where the most exciting thing there was the butt sauna as mentioned in the subject of this entry. let's discuss this butt sauna, shall we? when i got to work, there was this buzz about the bathroom. apparently, there was only hot water in there. even the toilet water was hot. it was almost boiling, that's how hot it was. it was all steamy. when you sat down, it was like a sauna for your butt. now, it was kind of strange, yet soothing. not really on a day when it's 90 degrees, but in the winter, that would be damn nice. so that's the butt sauna. yeah, work was reallllllll boring today.
