i need a break from life
this week has been so busy and i've been so sick! i think i'm getting better now though. hopefully! the week has gone really slowly, but a lot has gone on, i think. i don't remember which night it was (monday, maybe) but there were a lot of people here. emilio said on sunday that he was going to come by with tommy and vin so those 3 showed up, then there was specs, and moo. then, mollie called and she and her friends carly and dan came up. there was just some silliness going on. we all discovered that absolutely none of us could read. haha. it was great. when emilio, tommy, and vin were leaving, vin kept buzzing our door. adam was like "i should pour a bucket of water out the window" and he ran over to the window, opened it, took out the screen, leaned out and bumped some of our glass bottles that were sitting on the window sill. 2 of them went crashing down to the sidewalk. that's what happens when you mess with our buzzer! haha. it was so hilarious. it scared the shit out of the 3 boys. AMAZING!
yesterday i ran into emilio on the trolley on my way home from work. he wanted to hang out and i wanted to ask him to watch "orgazmo" anyway, so we said we'd do that. he had to work, so he said he'd be over after that. then, specs, kirby, and jen ended up coming over too. i like jen. she's a cool girl. she's going to make me an awesome t-shirt! w00t! we watched the movie, it has it's moments, but it wasn't as funny as i remember it being. maybe because i was so much more immature the first time i saw it. haha. i dunno. jesus and i love you.
today at work was so crazy. i did a lot of shit, manual labor stuff too. i moved file cabinets. that was a sight to see.
i just have to make it through work tomorrow then it's off to oakland for a free voice in the wire show. after that, we're going to the rex for the love and riots festival. i don't know who is going to that. i know it's definitely me and adam. it's 21+ and $7, so i'll have to see who else might come. saturday is an unarmed show at some bar near kennywood. it doesn't start till 10:30, but emilio is driving us and he has to be there at like 8. i think i'll probably end up drinking too much. must keep myself in check.
i ordered a new computer yesterday. my poor laptop is old. it's not really old, but it's old for a computer. i hate technology! the new one will not be used until i am moved into my new apartment. i'm so excited to start looking for places to live again. i really want to live in dormont. it's a cool little area. i think that's where we'll end up. it's just going to be me and adam. mike, specs, and adrian are either going to take adrian's current place or find another place. getting a big house for all of us turned out to not be such a good idea. a house for that many is way too expensive and i have so much stuff to worry about for school next year that i would never be able to concentrate with that many people around. i would end up failing everything because i'd just want to hang out all the time.
we're going to look for a new car for adam saturday! hopefully he'll get one! i hate walking everywhere. i've gotten used to it, so i don't hate it as much anymore, but we're so limited with what we can do unless someone else drives. new car, yeah!
