is the only reason you're stressed because of work? it seems to me that you can't do anything else because you're too distracted. you're thinking about other things. which probably means you're worried/stressed about other things as well. friends? your roommate? missing home? I think you need to take care of that stuff first, before freaking out about school work. you have to take care of the "real world" stuff before you can take of the school stuff. not that school stuff isn't real... it's just different, you know?
I dunno, that was a big rambling blob of me trying to sound smart and I hope it made sense... I think I am right though. whatever's bothering you is about more than the schoolwork itself. like you said, at allendale you could handle stuff like this.
the worst thing you can do is not sleep/eat/leave your room or whatever when you're stressed like this. go for a walk, take a nap, listen to music, do something fun for a while. then work again.
