i know three entries in two days is cra-zay but i just wrote my first Transcendentalist poem for english and i realllly like it. take a looksies.
--And the Sun Set and the Daylight Faded--
Annabelle sat outside and doted,
Thinking of her new life with him she floated.
And as she sat there and pondered,
An old caustic thought slowly sauntered.
And the sun set and the daylight faded.
This memory aided,
Her promise to never again become callous and jaded.
For love was celestial but she had blundered,
And did not want this marriage foundered.
And the sun set and the daylight faded.
A voice, the catalyst inside her repeated,
Keep your mind gated.
The thoughts capitulated and were interred,
To never again be remembered.
And the sun set and the daylight faded.
