Good things about Fair:
1. Winning my first barrels class.
2. Coming in 6th out of 32 riders in advanced hunters over fences at 3'3"
3. Getting 2nd out of 17 riders in advanced hunter hack
4. Pinning 6th out of 24 riders in senior walk trot canter pleasure
5. Placing 5th out of 29 riders in senior walk trot canter equitation, and therefore going to the Eq. Championship and winning 2nd place in Eq. for the weekend
6. Zhar was wonderful
7. I bonded with people in my club
8. Finally got some color in my skin
9. I slept on an air mattress that was more comfortable than my own bed.
Bad things about Fair:
1. I was away for two weeks, leaving only four days to ride and get Ace ready for Fair
2. Ace threw a shoe and was lame for those four days, so i went about 3 weeks without riding before a major show.
3. Ace reared four times in schooling and would not walk forward
4. I ran out of hay
5. I left the horse feed in my mom's car so my dad had to bring some for Thursday night and has still not forgiven me.
6. I missed going to see Katie
7. Not pinning in a hunter under saddle class. (there were 40 people, so it wasn't a huge deal.)
8. A Western judge judging English classes.
9. Team Penning going on durning the Mini Show (lots of cows, fast and crazy horses, cheering, ect. while the 4th grade and under riders were having their show in the next ring. their ponies were freaking out.)
