[It took a great deal of fiddling, and after fleeing from the falling comm, she hears a click and waddles around it to investigate.]

What an odd device. I wonder if someone can hear me.

[Feathers rustle]

It's almost time. I need to find water.

!swan, like a swan, he has me under a spell, kage, princess zelda, !voice

I imagine by now you have surely had someone make mention, but I believe there is water on the second deck. Of course, there is water around the entire ship, but it would seem any attempt to go overboard may very well simply bring you back.

[She can't say you'd find that water you so long crave for.]

A nice man named Kage helped me out. I wouldn't have made it on time without him.

Kage.

[Yes. She knows him well. There's questions over this whole "on time" thing, but Zelda's not going to push it just yet.]

I am glad. He seems to be rather good at all sorts of things like that.

I couldn't reach the door. So he was very helpful.

Not everyone will be as understanding, Miss. Try to be careful and guard yourself well.

I will. Thank you very much, Miss...?

My name is Zelda. May I the privilege of yours?

I'm Odette. It's a pleasure to meet you, Zelda.

[That's a very pretty name, actually.]

I assure you, the pleasure is mine.

[Thank you. Zelda is lovely too.]

Have you been aboard this ship for long?

Half of a year. It has been some time in comparison to one who has only recently arrived.

Oh wow. That is such a long time.

[Six months. How long will she be stuck here?]

Is there anyway to contact people back home. There are several people I really must talk to.

[Speed, Jean-Bob. But very especially Derek.]

I apologize, Miss Odette, however as of this moment not a single passenger aboard has discovered a genuine method to leaving this ship. Please do not fret too much, however, as we are still searching for a way. Surely if one is found, you will be informed.

[Her voice deflates anyway.]

Oh I see.

[That's something she's always been doing, waiting. And waiting. And waiting for Derek someone else to act for her. So maybe it's time she did something for herself. Her voice perks up again.]

Please, no 'miss'. Odette is just fine. And I assume there are things to do on this ship, right?

[Strike one for Zelda.]

Oh! There is a variety of things to do while you are aboard. It all depends on what you wish to do. There are some very, very pretty places as well. On deck three, there is a beautiful forest. On deck thirteen, a never-ending field of flowers and a rather ornate temple. On deck fifteen, mystical caves in my opinion.

There are many places to eat ranging from the fourth floor to the tenth floor, I believe. Taking a look around the ship would take quite some time in such that I do not think you would grow listless of nothing to do.

Oh it sounds like fun! I've been to deck three. That's where I have to be after sundown tomorrow night.

[Remembering where it is on the other hand...]

I've never been on such a large ship before. It's much larger than the ones back home.
