~Friday:
~I had a semi-eventful day. I finally got insurance for my car, which is nice, because I can drive now, which is just something I really need to do, for multiple reasons. Now I can hang out with Dani a bit more often, because I can go to get her and we can pal around a bit. I can go for a drive when I feel really sad. I can go to work, and come home for lunch, instead of buying really expensive food.
~After getting my insurance, I went to Albertson's to cash my twelve dollars in change in, so I could go and buy a manga. As I was cashing it in, I called Chica to see if she wanted to do something, and so we did. We ended up going to the Mall, and I bought my manga at Borders (Gravitation 4) and I was so excited. Chica bought some Chocolate Frogs, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, and a book on paganism. Then as I was paying for my book, Dani called. She told me she'd get her parents to drop her off at the mall, so as we waited, me and Chica went to get some food and Panda Express. It was delicious. As we were eating, Clair (Bullock) walked up, and we chatted for a bit before Dani showed up. When Dani got there, we got bored of the mall. I'd done everything I wanted (talked to my sis, got my manga, put food in my tummy) so we decided to go to Pearl Street.
~Oh it was exciting at Pearl Street. The first shop we entered was a Tibetan shop, and the for the first time ever, I saw figures of Genbu, Byakko, Seiryuu, and Suzaku! I almost freaking had a heart attack at the Genbu and Suzaku ones! So, I asked Chica if she'd buy them for me, and her terms were that I had to figure out what song was playing on the places sound system, and if I payed her back. Since I get paid tomorrow, I figured I could run by her house with the twenty bucks I owe her after work. So she bought me Genbu and Suzaku (sometime, I'll have to explain about them if I haven't before). Oh yeah, I figured out the song, and she bought the CD, and life was good. We walked all the way to the end of Pearl and back. On our way back, Dani wanted to sample some Ice Cream, so she lined up for samples, and inside the ice cream store, there was this girl, who looked just like Allie! I almost died! And then it wasn't her, and I was bummed. So we left and went to drop Dani off at home.
~Well, on the way back, we drove by Peaberry's and saw Jame's truck. So we whipped around to go get some coffee, we walked in, and the minute they (James and Dane) saw us (or at least Dani/Me) they covered their faces and pretended to not see us. I was so hurt by this. That James, who promised to never hate me, showed that he does. Supposedly Alex was there too, but I didn't see her if she was. One way or another, I got ignored by at least two of my "friends". We got our coffee, and the rest of their pastries (for free, I should add), and left.
~After we dropped Dani off, we went to my house to get a movie. Hide and Seek featuring the new Mara Wilson, Dakota Fanning! We watched about a half hour of it, before I decided I should let Chica go to bed, cause she has to be at work at seven in the morning tomorrow (right now, officially, today). So I got my movie, and went home. Being royally bummed by something I learned about James, apart from his face-covering hatred of me, decided I needed to get out of the house, before I broke down. So I got in my car and returned another block-buster movie, and went out to Super Wal-Mart. I looked around a bit, and headed home. And now here we are. I'm crushed because I finally lost the last friend I had. Chica leaves in less than three weeks so she doesn't count, and Dani and I never really hang out, so I'm hoping we can get to hanging out, so I can have someone I can rely on. So, now I'm going to go read Gravitation, or go to bed. I don't really know, 'cause I've gotta be at work in less than twelve hours...so g'night, internet-land.
~Sunday:
~Last night can be summed up in one word: Jawsome.
~So, I got up at like 1 in the afternoon, and decided to go to the mall. I got there and saw Ashley (jame's ashley) and we chatted it up, and I waited for her to get off at work at 3 (i came into the mall at about 2:40) so we chatted while we waited, and then went down to Hot Topic and I bought two shirts (pride shirts no less) and then we went to Best Buy. She bought a CD while we were there, and I had to leave her 'cause now I had to go home and get ready for work.
~Got ready and left for work. I asked Dominick, the guy i was working with, if he'd mind if I left about 30 minutes early from work. He said it was cool, so I offered to finish pretty much everything that needed to be done that night before we left for home. So I did everything and left. Got some rude text messages from James during the course of the night, but whatever. After I left, I called Dani and she came with me to good ol' fashioned DENNY'S!
~Denny's was the start of a great night. I talked to Dani for awhile, then Bekah (our server, and like, my freakin' new best friend), asked what else we were planning to do and I said I had wanted to go to Fascinations. So she wanted to go too, so I asked Shane (the manager) if he would cut her the rest of the night, and he said YES! So Bekah finished all her shit, and we went to take her home so she could change and get some stuff. Then from there I took Dani home, and went BACK to Boulder. We went to Fascinations where we met, hot person number one. Darrel. Just a cute little guy (not really little, but hey :P) he chatted with us about vibrators and the like, 'cause that's what Bekah was looking for and then we went and sat on the floor and looked at all the porn. We sat on the floor and looked for like 20 minutes before we made any choices on anything. Then as we were leaving I gave Darrel my number, and he said "Thanks, dear!" and I was just really happy about that. Since I don't give my number out normally, ya know? So then we headed back to Denny's. There we talked with everyone there. On the way to Fascinations, I told Bekah that Shane was kinda cute, ya know, cause he is, and she said she'd tell him what I thought so she sent me to the restroom, and I got back and he just gave me this look! And I sat down and I was like "Well, what'd he say?" and she said that he said I was cute! Gloria in excelsis, deo! Har har, ya know? And from there, Shane sat with us the rest of the night, and I got really bold again and gave him my number. AND HE GAVE HIS BACK! HAHAHA! YEAH! He's 24, but whatever! So we were all excited about that, and I'm going to go back to Denny's tonight to read my new book (The Complete Idiot's Guide to Taoism) and to see Shane..then on monday, I'm going to give Shane a call.
~Life is going so swell right now, hehehe, I love everything, and everyone, and nothing could bring me down right now. You should see the smile on my face, everyone. It's a genuine, ol' fashioned, smile. One thing I haven't had since before school let out. :)
~Monday:
~Okay, so I hate King Soopers, still. Hehe. We had a meat slicer break-down yesterday. Talk about suck. We were so busy yesterday, that after having a slicer break-down, we couldn't restock the deli case and by five, we had five trays of food. We usually have ten to fifteen, so that meant a lot of extra slicing the rest of the night. But I was determined to get out of there by ten, I needed to be. I had a pseudo-date to go to! We ended up leaving at like fifteen after, but hey, still made good time. So I went home and showered, and hahaha, actually fussed over what I was going to wear for the first time in my life. That's a big deal for me, 'cause I've never actually wanted to impress anyone before, but I actually wanted to try and impress Shane. So I got two outfits, and went to get Bekha before I went to Denny's. We decided on my white polo shirt, and my fancy pair of jeans, and of course my Converse(tm). It was either my Converse(tm) or my notoriously blue ventilated shoes (anyone remember those? ;P ). So, we left for Denny's (yes, Denny's is a good place for a pseudo-date. :p ) and we walked in.
~So we kind of sat around, and Shane would walk by every so often and give me that look, and I would just blush every time. Then he sat with us for a few minutes, and by "with us" I mean he sat with Bekha on the other side of the booth. Then he got up and left and when he came back, Bekha stretched her legs out so he'd have to sit by me. Then Bekha had to pee, and Shane and I just sat there and kind of did the giggle-y-not-sure-what-to-say-thing and then these other people came in that knew Shane and sat down with us. Grr. I wanted them to leave. So the rest of the night just consisted of very subtle passes at each other. Then around three in zee morning (yes, I was there from eleven to three) we decided it was best for us to leave. Now, I had been suffering from low blood-sugar 'cause I was refusing to eat, and my body had began to shudder (much like a shiver) and I had to finally resort to eating a slice of cheesecake, but it didn't help, because my nerves were making me all shaky too. The night before, I walked Shane to his car (and I carried this heavy box of dishwashing liquid [yes, a box] for him) so he walked me to my car this time. I was so nervous the entire time, because I had to use the bathroom a bit earlier, and when I had gone, Bekha and Shane were talking after Bekha had ordered some food that came with Buffalo dipping sauce, and Shane said something along the lines of "I couldn't make out with someone that had that sauce in their mouth." so I was really really really nervous about that. Yeah, it seems like it's gone really fast, but we've talked a lot in the last two days, and he told Bekha that he likes me so far, so I was uber nervous that he'd try to kiss me. But it turns out that we're both horridly shy, so no one made the first move. Hahaha, but hey, I'm taking him out tonight after he gets off of work tonight, so there's plenty of room for chances tonight.
