I'll try not to make this too long. Cause I know you guys hate me for it. Fuck that, it's gonna be a novel again..deal.
Umm yeah last Monday was a long day. Lots of dance, and dance that I wasn't used to. But whatev, I survived, didn't I? Then our power went out at like 11:30pm. So my mom and I went around the house and lit a million candles, then we talked about Warped and who all was gonna be there cause she wanted to know. Then I taught her how to play Egyptian Ratscrew, and she ended up getting a little too into it. She called me a bitch and a bum and wanted me to let her win hahah. I love her.
Tuesday consisted of a lot of sleeping and whatnot, yeah that was pretty much it. Wednesday was Warped Tour, which was amazing.
I got to Kevin's around 8:15 and we walked to Brian's at 8:30, waited around until 9, and left with John's mom then. Kevin ended up falling asleep with his head in my lap until I accidentally kicked my leg up cause it was falling asleep about 45 minutes later. Hawthorne Heights, Millencolin, The Starting Line, My Chemical Romance, Motion City Soundtrack, The Transplants, Fall Out Boy, Saosin, The Offspring, Mae, Gratitude, Thrice, Relient K, Funeral For A Friend...yeah those are all I remember watching. I have to say Motion City was probably my favorite, just because, well, they rock.
During Fall Out Boy I just happened to turn my head and look through the crowd and who's the first person I see a couple people down on my left? Matt Cooley. Oh God, it was Matt. I think I froze right then and there. I didn't know what to do, but to prove a couple things to myself, I had to go over and say hi. So I dragged Brian with me, and kinda touched Matt's back. He turned around and was kinda...well, really surprised to see me, I guess.He gave me a hug and we talked for a bit. The one thing I remember him saying "Wow, Kels, how the hell have you been?" Well Matt, it really hasn't been THAT long since I've seen you. I hated it because I know I'm over him, but I'm always going to love him. If that makes sense. So my heart was beating all fast and whatnot, but it was like an empty beat. It was weird...definitely. But I guess it was good to see him.
Anyway, I finally met Nick, this guy I met through Myspace. Haha I'm a dork..I KNOW. Love me for it. Yeah, so I met him outside the pavillion and I guess my final decision is that I need to hang out with him sometime causeee he's awesome. Duh.
Okay, I think I hit all the highlights of Warped..I hope. We went back to Brian's and watched Spinaltap, while Kevin once again fell asleep kinda sorta on me hah. We walked back to his house and sorted out our shirts cause we had them all in one bag, until my mom picked me up.
Thursday was a lot of sleep again, then I went to Morgan's (stopped at 7-11 for a pina colada slurpee) and watched Scary Movie with her and Lauren (who I decided is uber adorable) and then started Titanic with those two and Mo's brother. Then it was just me and Mo and we hung out in her room a bit then Rhys came to pick us up and we went back to my house. Rhys left soon after, then we ate pizza and watched some of my dances in my dance recital, and Bobby came over. We watched the Something Corporate dvd andddd yeah. Mo gave me and Bobby makeovers lol. Good times. We took Mo home and then me and Bobby got slurpees again. We stopped at Hollywood video and we figured out that it was Pat Boquard's brother working there and I got really excited that I figured that out haha.
Friday I slept late, woke up and watched Lemony Snickets then fell asleep again til like 6 or something. Kevin and Brian came over and we watched The Butterfly Effect (probably in the top 5 of my favorite movies) then we hung out in the bird room then went to 7-11 and got more slurpees cause we rock like that. They left around 11:35 then my parents got home going on 12.
Saturday I woke up late...again. Rich IMed me and asked if I wanted to go to Six Flags...mm couldn't pass that up! He picked me up a little while later and we caught up a bit on the drive there. He got me in for free which was nice, and he obviously got in free cause he works there. We went to the water park first, and got some food then went on the Hurricane whatever it's called I don't even know..I feel like it had Hurricane in the name haha. It's this HUGE ass funnel thing and you come shooting out at the top (the big part) and you slide from side to side and then end going out the little funnel part at the bottom. We went on a couple more slides then dried off and headed over to the rollercoasters around 5. We went to Joker's Jinx first. They took the headrests off thank goodness, so the ride isn't as bumpy and doesn't hurt your head anymore! Then we got to Superman and Batwing. We thought Batwing broke down cause they stopped running it so most of the line left. Turned out they were just putting a second train on the tracks so they would have two running so the line would go faster. So after a longgg time of waiting, we finally got on and it was totally worth it. We headed over to Two Face but it was closed cause it was already after 8:30. We went to the Mind Eraser and sat front seat cause the line was extremely short. He showed me the stages where he worked and told me about the shows and whatnot, then we got on The Wild One, which is probably one of my favorite ones ever. It's a classic. We left around 9:35 and stopped at the Truckstop for breakfast...at 10:30pm, yeah. I can't believe I live right around the corner from it and I had never been there, let alone never seen it before. I loved it though. I got home a little after 11 I guess and yeah.
Today's Katie's 18th Birthday, happy birthday to her. I can't believe how fast time goes. Honestly, 18? Where'd that come from? We're having crabs for dinner and yeah, I don't even know. yay for birthdays. And it's Kait's bday too, 14. Gah, yup. I just want to be 16 finally. I'm ready for it. I hate being so young.
And Dustin's coming over tomorrow. I don't know if it's good or bad that I'm this excited. I haven't seen him in 2 weeks and it's killing me. All I've been listening to is Death Cab For Cutie, Armor For Sleep, and Fall Out Boy. Which are all the bands that kinda really remind me of him. I'm a dork. I need to stop. Eh, whatev =P
