(no subject)
I kinda kept forgetting to update, and I kinda have been really busy.
Last Friday I went to Ocean City for the day with Jake then stayed at his house that night. Down in his area on the eastern shore, it's so beautiful and peaceful. We went for a midnight swim in his pool and the pool light was burnt out so you could just see all the stars and yeah it was nice. The next day we went on a two hour drive to these people's house (Beth and Randy) whom I haven't seen since I was maybe 4. Or something.
We freaking left Jake at the gas station.
Jake and I spent 6 hours sitting on their couch sleeping and listening to his ipod. Talk about keeping busy.
He came down Sunday night and Mo, Laura, and her boyfriend Dan came over and we watched The Ringer then Jake and I watched Forrest Gump.
Monday I hung out with Sommer all day then had my job interview at Bateman's, which I ended up having to sit and wait for 45 minutes before the manager came out. I was scared as all hell but it was fine and I got the job. I stayed in and watched old RnR tapes..god, the memories. Dan Morgan stopped by and we watched some more then went to Donut Shack and sat outside for a bit.
Tuesday, my mom, Sara, and I went to Six Flags. Talk about a hot day. We got to see Katie's show twice (or was it three times?) and Rich's show, and the Jukebox show. We did most of the rollercoasters and the water slides and stuff, and Sara and I went backstage to the magic show and Katie showed us how everything works and whatnot, which was cool. We ended up not leaving until like 8:30ish, and there was like torrential downpour on the way home we could barely see anything.
Yesterday I wake up to Morgan and Sommer both sitting on my bed waving a bag of donuts in my face. So we sat around in my room a bit talking til I had to go meet my mom at the high school to get a work permit. They left and went to Sommer's and after the high school I met them at Sommer's.
Morgan was looking through old yearbooks, I was sitting on the floor doing a jigsaw puzzle, and Sommer was looking at pictures I think..then Dan came in and we went in the basement to Sommer's mom's salon room. We dyed his whole head black, then Liz stopped by and he actually let us shave his legs...yeah. Good times.
We decided to dye my hair. So now I have pink tips. Good stuff. It's a little light cause we only bleached it to light brown instead of blonde, but oh well, I like it. Liz did her underside tips blue and Sommer still has her blue streak.
I came home and Dan picked me up and we watched Labyrinth. Probably the best movie ever, I knew all the words to the songsss who does that? Me. Okay, so yeah. Then he dropped me off and I got all dressed up in my pink dress and my "glass slippers". That's what I like to call them at least.
I met Liz, Som, Mo, and Gen back at Som's and we all got dressed up and went to Double T cause it was too late to go to Annapolis. We blasted Dashboard on the way there, then TBS on the way back. Juka met us there and it was nice to get all the girls together. It was like a huge Bateman's gettogether, haha. Som, Liz, Gen, and now I work there..Juka used to..Mo is applying. Hooray.
Me, Som, Liz, and Mo went back to Som's to spend the night and ateeee a lot then just crashed after a bit, now I'm home but I"m leaving shortly for an ortho appt (kill me now).
I get to drive over the Bay Bridge by myself today and over to the eastern shore...an hour and 15 minutes away. I'm scared as hell, woo.
