I heard a story on TV that got about 30 seconds of airtime: A dude in Iraq threw himself on a grenade and died to save his other two companions. But what was the top story that night? Dogs.
This guy sacrificed himself for others, and what does he get? A blurb on the news?
People say heros are dead......I think they just get overlooked. This guys deserves a fucking shrine and a million medals, but what does he get? 15 seconds of fame and then forgotten, except by the people that were there.
