[28] funny how time flies
I'm back on patrol duty again. Funny, going back to doing something so boring again. But now that's ANBU's back up to strength, and there are more experienced veterans than rookies again, there's really no place to put me. Never really was a place to put me to begin with, I guess; I just did whatever they needed doing and didn't have hands or experienced shinobi to spare for. That was the whole point, really.
Still. Patrol duty. Ugh. I hope they want to put me on some missions or training more rookies soon, coz seriously.
But then, now that there are more hands, there's less need for me to train. I'm good, but I'm not the only one any more. Some of the ANBU that were injured last year have healed up enough that they can come back and captain again, or train again. No one really expects me to stay, so I haven't been asked to captain. Guess I don't really mind. I shouldn't be given a team when I don't know how much longer I'll stay in.
It's been almost a year already.
Konohako. Could you tell me why you tracked mud into my house? Because I am too tired to be cleaning this shit up this early in the morning.
