Where'd all the rum go?
So I had the best bday. Friday night Trav and I went to see Just Like Heaven, which was cute. Then we went to a bar in Chandler, Fox and Hound, but it got really crowded around 1:30 so we left. It was fun, though I was buzzed off 2 rum and cokes and some fruity coconut rum drink, and we smelled like smoke when we got home.
Saturday Travis told me he was gonna get his uncle to fix my headlight while he fixed his uncle's computer, so he dropped me off at my house and took my car. I stayed here and cleaned most of the day, then we were gonna go to the store when Trav got back. He told me to get in the car and start it up while he was in the bathroom. So I got in the car and I saw a rose, which I thought was really cute. Then I saw a new stereo installed in my car; I was like wtf? Did Trav put his stereo in here for today? It was an mp3 player, which I had said I wished I had so I could play a bunch more songs instead of having to change cd's every few days. So then we went to the store and bought a bunch of food, rum and vodka. I didn't have to stay in the car while Trav bought alcohol this time! lol.
I put one contact in for the party cuz I didn't want to risk drying out both eyes even more. I tried putting in both but the worse eye immediately began burning so I took it out. Oh well, it was nice to be able to see without freakin glasses for a night. I can't wait til my eyes heal; should be soon since I've been putting drops in every hour or so.
Anyway, people started getting there around 9, with a bunch of people showing up at like 11. I got a barnes and noble gift card, $20, a cool picture, Dos equis, Mickey's, a stephen king book and a big bag. I haven't even gotten the presents from my mom, sister and trav's mom yet. So yeah, I got way more than I expected, and I had a lot of fun at the party. I had some Sparks, rum and cokes, vodka and pineapple juice, dos equis, mickey's, and tequila and rum shots. My sister and I took like 3 sister shots, with tequila being one of them. Ewww I had to drink a whole beer to get the taste out of my mouth! We tried making margaritas but the blender is like 80 years old and spilled EVERYWHERE. Lol, I was still cleaning it up today, finding sticky pink, alcohol-smelling stuff everywhere. I passed out in my room, on my top bunk since someone was passed out in my bed, at like 3 or 4. The last person left at almost 7 am I guess, and then I got my bed back. I think someone like fell into my bathtub though, since there's stuff scattered everywhere, lol. And someone informed me that my backyard was on fire halfway through the night; I guess they were burning bottles in the firepit. I knew that thing would come in handy one day, at least as an amusement to drunk people. But I had a lot of fun; thanks to everyone who came the party! Now I have to go study for a psychology test. :(
