bitchin(g) post.
who has no fiscal responsibility? (although i did have a finance manager at work look up my credit score the other day...an amazing 750) i am 2k in debt to my boa credit card as of now. i have let this bill accumulate over the last 6 months and neglected to paid it off fully. but guess what. i don't give a shit because working less and loving life is awesome.
i am so thankful i have professor coleman again, whom this time, is teaching an enlightening economic globalization/geography class. although the last class i took with him was quite similar, he has shown me there is more to life than this matrix that society tosses our way. if he wasn't old enough to be my grandpa i would ask him to marry me!!! i can't ever recall in my entire educational career, sitting in a classroom, absorbing every ounce of information presented to me. why can't every class be like this?!?!? i would stay in college forever because i love learning this way!
dropped death and dying. not that it wouldn't have been interesting, but it was an upper level class full of seniors, and the material he focuses on isn't anything i can't pick up at the library. on top of the unsubstantial readings, the professor assigns weekly essays (which is the foundation of your entire grade) and i have no time for that bullshit.
taking spanish as well. very excited! my teacher is cute and exceptionally nice. surprisingly she moved here from deltona last year....what a small world.
college algebra is horrendous but i have justina in there and rhino to tutor me which helps dramatically considering how horrible i am at math.
nutrition is a joke. i can honestly say the teacher hasn't taught me a damn thing that i was not already informed about. and i hate her fucking god awful accent (sounds more like a speech impediment due to a social upbringing around retards or rednecks...or both.) i would rather jab q-tips into my eardrums than to listen to her.
in the last week i've read a total of 4 books (but neglected to read any material pertaining to my classes:/ .....oops!)
the portable nietzsche (again)
philosophies of judaism
discipline and punishment (finally finished after reading the first half in political philosophy!)
democracy matters
i have a goal to finish my entire collection of books by the end of the year. it shouldn't be too hard considering i only have about 25 more to go :)
a lot of these have been sitting on my bookshelf collecting dust and i need room for new material.
other than that life is swell. i'm extremely grateful that my dad is doing well after his surgery. nothing scares me more than imagining him not being here.
