Oh, how I am ashamed
Not because of Arizona voting McCain, but because Arizonans approved Prop 102. Here I was proud of our state, as in 2006, we were the first state in the union to shoot down a similar ban. First state in the fucking union!
I guess it's ok to take away the rights of some, but not the rights of a whole, which last night's results proved.
But on a different note, who watched CNN's coverage of Obama's victory speech? Did you happen to catch the music they were playing just before he took the podium? If so, this was all I could think of:
How fabulously apropos would it have been to actually see the Statue of Liberty reveal herself from behind the Aon Center and show up at the speech?
