(no subject)
I just talked to mom for the first time in a long time and got the family update. I guess dad has been working 12 days streight and he is pretty tired. He has to work Christmas eve until 5 and then he has to work on Christmas too. 3-8. This sucks. I can't even remember a year that dad had to do that. Actually now that I think about it, I don't think he has ever had to do that. At Trader Joe's they were closed Christmas. I guess everyone is pretty upset, this changes our tradition of dinner with the family and watching "A Christmas Carol". I guess mom wanted to do a nice breakfast instead, I'm down, think happy thoughts right? Right.
Kevin has caulilower ear and mom is debating whether to take him to urgent care. I said do it because it can be permanent. I remember when Scott Neuberger had it in high school....nasty.
I forgot to say last night that I talked to a good friend in high school last night for like an hour, Anne. She is coming into town today and we are going to get together to catch up some more. She is actually living in California right now freakishly close to Jason and was looking for a roommate. hint hint. The hospital is five minutes away, very nice to say the least! There is only one thing, she is 5 months pregnant. I guess she hasn't told her parents yet and this trip is the "BIG SURPRISE!" I wish her luck on that one.... I might be picking her up from the airport at 4 but I'm not sure. Actually seeing that it is 12:30 and I have not talked to her yet I should get ready just in case....
