I missed the boat

So ya, I went to a Christmas party tonight from a guy at work. Jim Croutch, not my boss Jim the one that I did Saturday mornings with a long time ago. Well I totally had NO idea that he was gay. Now I know a lot about this guy, we use to talk for hours and hours about personal stuff but man oh man did I miss that one. Matt his "roommate" had even stopped by the park and said hello and stuff. Jim had always talked about Matt like a friend/roomie and that was that. Well tonight was needless to say hilarious on my part because there were about 60 people at the party and it seemed like I was the only one that didn't know. It was fun though, Jim is a great guy and fun to be around...

Natalie just threw up...

Matt the new roommate is giggling with a chick that sounds blonde....

Anyway, the party was fun. It took me an hour to get to their house because they live in BFN in a HUGE house. I got lost on the way because you have to go on a few dirt roads to get there and the roads were not lighted so it was hard to see where I was going. One of the main roads was pretty damaged from the rain last weekend so I had to basically go 4 wheeling in my little car. It was interesting to say the least. I thought I was going to get stuck or flip over. (I found out later that someone earlier in the day did because they were going to fast) Ok now let tell you about this amazing house. The house has vaulted ceiling and  view of the mountain and a freaking coy pond in the backyard.

My feet are cold.

Jim decorated the house like a professional decorator would. I think there were a total of 5 massive trees that had different themes. The main one was 11 feet tall and all about nature so it had small birds, black and gold ribbon, golden feathers, berries, spiky things at the top. It was beautiful. The 8Ft tree was a snowflake theme, the one in the backyard had a large ordainment theme, the one in the den had a nutcracker theme and the one in the garage had normal things on it. They were all great; I just wish I could do a tree like that someday.

My feet are still cold. (They are going to come after you Alina...)

So I can't remember if I posted about the new roommate or not and I am to lazy to just look so I am going to put a plug in and mention it. His name is Matt and he is Alina's friend. He's cool and he moved in today. I had to clean out the closet in that room because I was using it for storage. I didn't have a place to put everything so my room has become the pigsty that I have become accustomed to. BUT that won't be lasting much longer. I think that my room is not fung shway (sp?) and it is getting too cluttered.  I am going to take down all of the stuff from the walls and just put up 1 or 2 posters and maybe that mirror that I got from my neighbor. I am also going to take out my keyboard and move it to the pool room and maybe get a little desk. My vanity is starting to fall apart because my computer is on it and one of the legs broke yesterday. I don't want a full-on desk, just something with a few shelves to put my printer and monitor on. I asked mom if I could put it on my Christmas list and she laughed. She said that I should just build one. I laughed at her answer; there is no way in the world that I am going to BUILD my desk. It's just not going to happen. Oh well. Maybe I can get a cheap one from IKEA. Who knows...

Ok well I have rambled enough...I am going to get my beauty sleep because I have the family photo tomorrow morning.

roommate, parties, friends
