Wow, I have gone almost entire semester without updating this thing. Right now, I am in the Mac lab in the Music Building. I thought I would be able to finish up my Finale project before I started my classes, but of course someone is using the computer that my work is saved on. I am coming back after Org Comm at 11, and if someone else is one it then, I am going to have to ask them to change computers. I am not going to do the whole assignment over on a different computer, especially when the whole thing is finished.
I have been unbelievably productive this week and it feels great! If I could be this productive all the time, I could pack my bags and move to cloud 9 for good. Let me explain because I love explaining it. Thursday of last week, while in class, I wrote an outline for a paper in Music Tech class. Friday night, with no plans to do so, I sat down on the floor in my room with pen in hand, pulled out the outline, and started writing. I wrote roughly a third of the paper in one sitting. I was so proud! And I did that the rest of the weekend. My entire was on that paper. I finished it Monday night and the paper is not due till Tuesday. I finished it an entire week before it is due.
Then, Wednesday, after learning how to use Finale in class, I came to the Mac lab and did the entire thing in one sitting, with the exceptions of a few tweakings that I thought I would be able to do now. So, when I finish that later, I will e-mail it to my teacher before the weekend, so that will be off my mind.
I also have another paper due on Tuesday for New Testament Lit class that is practically done. The research part is complete. The only thing left to write is my conclusion and tweak my introduction. I will do that tomorrow.
So that is the extended version of my productive week. And my reward for being so productive, going home for the weekend. For some unknown reason, I have Saturday and Sunday off from work and I didn't even ask. So, I am heading home tonight after work.
And tonight I am giving my 2 weeks notice at work! Unfortunately there is no way to properly convey the emotions through this because I am extremely elated.
I have to stop in the middle of this to run to class. I'll finish later.
