(no subject)
well, i'm up and running on my own computer! FINALLY!! well, this entry is prolly gonna be long and not very specific because i cannot remember alot of what has gone on up here.
i got up here[ASU] on wednesday, august 20. i had to be up here by 10 am because i had a meeting at the bookstore, where i have a temporary job. we had marching band practice that night in kidd brewer stadium. marching band isn't gonna to be as much fun as i thought it would. i just don't like the way they march. i think i might do color guard next year. the next couple of days all we did was march and play. we have to learn four different shows, at once. we have pre-game, a classical show, a 70's show, and another show but we don't have the music yet. i'm excited about the classical show because we are playing festive overture, paglicci, and appalchian spring. school started monday, august 25. this is my schedule:

saturdays are for football games. this week our football team is in hawaii, of all places. the first home game is september 20, which is family weekend and my parents are coming! tuesday, when we had marching band practice in the middle of the day, i didn't put on sunscreen and i got a little burnt. everytime i have a chance, i have been working in the bookstore, being a bookrunner. this weekend has been pretty been boring. friday night my roommate went home for the weekend, so i have had the room to myself. it's really nice! =D yesterday, i did some laundry and watched the vma's again. today, i actually went to church! i went to first baptist church, which is on campus, right beside whitener. it was nice. it was really stiff though. someone sang a special and nobody clapped afterwards, which was weird. only a couple ppl greeted me. but what was really cool was i meet this lady when i did the meet and greet thing. at the end of the service, she said that she made some brownies for sunday school and there were extras and she wanted to give them to me, so of course i took them. i thought that was really nice! now, i have more junk food! they also had the Lord's supper today in church. i didn't take it because there are things in my life that i haven't given to God and resolved. i'm sure certain ppl know what i'm talking about. that's about all that has happened since i moved up here. now that i'm connected i can update sooner. yeah! =D i have no idea what i'm gonna do tomorrow. there is no class because of labor day. i guess i could get ahead in my classes.
