30 Day Music Project/ Day 1: Your Favorite Song
I found this on Tumblr...30 days/30 posts/30 songs. And maybe you'll learn a little something about me in the process? (Because I refuse to simply post an artist/title with no explanation)
Of course the very first day was going to be the toughest one of them all right?
Oasis, Don't Look Back In Anger
This song pretty much triggered an 8 year obsession with this band from the age of 8. When everyone else was going through their boyband phase, I went through a britpop one. I still love this song and i'll always have a spot for Oasis in my musical heart (albeit a far less crazed one heh). I would also say that this song was probably one of the first that got me to start really paying attention to music and the artists that created them. I actually wrote about this song in my 7th grade English class. I still have that paper somewhere...I'll have to find it and edit this post months from now with it haha. I wouldn't call this my favorite song in this moment, but I would certainly say that in the grand scheme of my musical experience, it's of great importance. Oh, and I just love the song too. :)
